Now cash will be available in moving trains, ATM machine installed in train for the first time in India

Indian Railways ATM News: An ATM has been installed in a train in Maharashtra. An ATM machine has been installed in the AC coach of Panchvati Express. What was the result? What is the big plan for this in future? The railways has told everything about this.

It is difficult to carry a lot of money. In the era of digital payment, people do not want to carry even a little money. In this situation, many times it happens that even though there is money in the bank account, there is no money in the pocket. Imagine you are in a train. You have to buy something necessary and you do not have cash. If you use a digital payment app, then you will scan the QR code and pay. But what about those people who could not become so digital and who cannot make online payment. Indian Railways has listened to such people. Now ATMs are being arranged in trains as well. Work is also in progress. Its experiment has also been done in Panchvati Express on Tuesday.

According to the Times of India report , a train runs between Nashik's Manmad and Mumbai - Panchvati Express. On Tuesday, the country's first ATM was successfully tested inside the AC coach of this train. Railway officials said that the trial was successful everywhere except for one or two places. When the train was passing between Igatpuri and Kasara, the signal from the machine went off for some time. There are also many tunnels in these areas. This area is also known as a no-network zone.

Bhusaval DRM Iti Pandey told TOI,

The results of the trial were excellent. People will now be able to withdraw money even in a moving train. It will be continuously monitored whether the ATM machine is working inside the train or not.

This facility has been created for passengers with the cooperation of Railway's Bhusaval Division and Bank of Maharashtra. This ATM can be used easily in Panchvati train. You can easily reach the ATM in any coach you are sitting in because all the 22 coaches of the train are connected through vestibules.

India Today reporter Aishwarya Paliwal has shared a video of this. In this, an ATM is seen installed in the train compartment. She told that as an experiment, an ATM machine has been installed in the Manmad to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Panchvati Express. If the experiment is successful, then after the trial, the ATM will be formally launched.

It was told that the rake of Panchvati Express is also connected with 12071 Mumbai-Hingoli Jan Shatabdi Express. In such a situation, this machine will also be available for passengers from Manmad-Nashik route to Hingoli. Officials said that if the on-board ATM service becomes popular, then it can be extended to other trains as well.
