Operation Sindoor is still going on, said Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the all-party meeting

Leaders of all parties including Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi were present in the all-party meeting.

The central government on Thursday briefed all parties about the army's airstrike on terrorist camps operating from Pakistan. Leaders of all parties attended this all-party meeting. Many big leaders including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah were present from the central government's side. On the other hand, many big leaders including Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress Party President Mallikarjun Kharge, Trinamool Congress's Sudip Bandyopadhyay and DMK's TR Balu attended the meeting from the opposition's side.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired this meeting called in Parliament Annexe. During this, Singh said that Operation Sindoor against Pakistan is still going on. That is, even after the air strike on 9 locations of Pakistan on May 7, the operation has not been stopped. After coming out of the meeting that lasted for about one and a half hours, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju also reiterated the statement of the Defense Minister.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government wants to inform all parties about Operation Sindoor. Indian armed forces carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the early hours of Wednesday. Jaish-e-Mohammed's stronghold Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba's base Muridke were also destroyed in this airstrike. About 100 terrorists have been killed in this attack by the Indian Army. While many of their camps have been completely destroyed by our army. Rijiju said that all the parties cooperated as we had thought. The meeting was very positive and we have come out of the meeting united.

After the meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that we are with the country and the government in this crisis. There is no criticism of the government. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said, 'We have given our full support to the government. As Mallikarjun Kharge ji said, they (the government) said that there are some things that we do not want to discuss.'

Earlier on 24 April, an all-party meeting was held for 2 hours in the Parliament Annexe. In this, information was given about the terrorist attack in the Byasaran Valley of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. 25 tourists and a local horseman were killed in this terrorist incident. In this all-party meeting, the central government had admitted that there was a security lapse in the Pahalgam attack. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju had said that the officials of IB and Home Ministry informed the opposition leaders about the security lapse in the meeting.
