Kareena Kapoor is currently in the spotlight for her upcoming film Daayra. During a recent conversation, the actress opened up about life at home with husband and fellow actor Saif Ali Khan, revealing that their contrasting approaches to work sometimes lead to disagreements.

Kareena also spoke about her sister Karisma Kapoor and shared amusing anecdotes about how her sons, Taimur and Jeh, react when they see her in advertisements.

Kareena and Saif Have Different Approaches to Acting

During an appearance on The Indian Express's Screen program, Kareena revealed that she and Saif often discuss each other's professional work at home.

According to Kareena, the two sometimes disagree about things such as promotions and advertisements. She explained that their working styles are quite different.

Kareena described herself as more spontaneous, saying that she can switch between work and her personal life relatively quickly. Saif, on the other hand, prefers extensive preparation and spends considerable time studying and immersing himself in a role.

Their different approaches can therefore lead to occasional arguments, although Kareena described such disagreements as natural between two actors.

Kareena Credits Karisma for Teaching Her About Hard Work

Kareena also spoke warmly about her elder sister, Karisma Kapoor, and credited her with teaching her important lessons about dedication.

She recalled how Karisma had to constantly work hard and prove herself during the 1990s. According to Kareena, her sister's biggest lesson was that no matter how successful an actor becomes, they should never stop working hard or give up.

Kareena said she gives Karisma credit for instilling that attitude in her.

Taimur and Jeh Find Her Advertisements Funny

Kareena also shared an amusing glimpse into how her children react to seeing her on television and in advertisements.

She said that Taimur and Jeh now see her frequently in commercials, which can sometimes make her feel awkward.

Kareena recalled that when Taimur saw an advertisement in which she was posing and pouting, he questioned what she was doing. She explained that it was simply an advertisement, but her son continued asking questions.

The incident gave Kareena an amusing reminder that her children see her differently from the way audiences do.

Kareena’s Next Film, Daayra

On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor is set to appear in Daayra, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 18.

The crime thriller stars Prithviraj Sukumaran alongside Kareena and is directed by Meghna Gulzar.

With the film approaching its release, Kareena's comments about her work, family and contrasting professional relationship with Saif have offered fans another glimpse into her life away from the screen.
