Poco is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship phone, the Poco F7, and according to early information, the phone is set to make a grand entry. While the official launch date is yet to be revealed, Flipkart has leaked some details about the phone's massive battery. According to a promotional page that quietly went live on Flipkart's website, the Poco F7 will feature a massive 7,550mAh battery, which could make it India's biggest smartphone battery phone. Of course, if another brand doesn't launch something bigger before then. For comparison, the iQOO Z10 and vivo T4 currently have 7,300mAh batteries.

But it's not just about battery capacity. According to Flipkart's listing, the Poco F7's Si/C battery technology can last up to 2.18 days on a single full charge, if you use it in normal use. Charging won't be a big issue either. The Poco F7 will support 90W wired fast charging, which means even such a huge battery will charge quickly. Apart from this, the device will also offer 22.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to act as a power bank and charge other gadgets when needed. This feature can be very useful for users who are always on the go.

Poco F7: Leaked design
The information shared by Android Treasure on Friday gives a glimpse of the Poco F7, which looks very attractive in black color. Although Poco has not yet officially revealed the design of the phone, the camera module shown in the leaked images is very similar to the design revealed by a tipster earlier this week. The rear camera setup shows two lenses, separated by two diagonal green lines, and a third raised line between them.

Although the new renders suggest that the rear panel design of the Poco F7 may be quite traditional, earlier leaks indicate some more variations. A leak shows a special design element to the right of the camera island with a dual-tone finish, indicating that the device may be available in multiple color and design options when it launches.

Poco F7: Expected specifications

While Flipkart hasn't revealed much about the rest of the Poco F7 specifications, benchmarking platform Geekbench has revealed some more details. The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, with a tested model featuring 12GB of RAM. More configurations may become available after the device's official launch.

There is also speculation that the Poco F7 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was recently launched with similar hardware. If these rumors turn out to be true, buyers can expect the Poco F7 to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 1280p resolution. Storage options could be up to 1TB, and RAM configurations could go up to 16GB.

In terms of ruggedness, the phone is rumored to come with an IP68 rating, offering protection against water and dust. There could also be a lot in store for camera lovers: the Poco F7 is likely to feature a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, which would be perfect for selfies and video calls.

The launch is expected sometime this month, so Poco fans in India won't have to wait too long for an official confirmation of all the details. But given the early leaks, the Poco F7 is already poised to be one of the most feature-packed and battery-heavy smartphones of 2025.
