These days, patients suffering from knee pain are being treated free of cost using the most modern technology at PBM Trauma Centre, Bikaner.

Bikaner News: Knee pain troubles many people. Especially with increasing age, people get very upset with it and keep wandering for treatment. One treatment to get rid of knee pain is its transplantation, but due to being expensive, ordinary patients are often unable to avail it. But these days efforts are being made at Bikaner's PBM Trauma Center (PBM Hospital) to provide relief to patients suffering from knee pain. This week, knee transplantation of 6 patients has been done with a new technique. After this successful operation, the patients have started walking. The biggest thing is that these operations have been done free of cost under the Maa Yojana of the state government.

Dr. B.L. Khajotia, Director of Trauma Center of PBM Hospital, tells that these days knee transplant is being done with a new technique in the hospital which is famous for its innovations. He said, "Generally in knee transplant operation, blood vessels are blocked with the pressure of rubber or air using the "Tourney Cavity" method, in which a tube is inserted to drain out dirty blood, in which there is a risk of blood clotting in the veins. But this time the patient was operated with a new technique in which knee transplant was done without stopping blood circulation, in which there was no risk of draining out dirty blood and vein blockage."
