He informed that the Secretary to Government, Planning and ex-officio Director General of Jan Aadhar Authority has written a letter to all the District Collectors informing them that in the absence of biometric data input i.e. fingerprint/iris in Aadhaar of elderly residents of the state and in the absence of mobile number in Aadhaar, online eKYC from Aadhaar in Jan Aadhar cannot be done. To solve the problem of such people, the state government has made arrangements for offline eKYC.

Dr. Sudeep Kumawat informed that for offline eKYC, the option of offline eKYC has been made available on the SSO ID of Block Development Officer in rural areas and Sub-Divisional Officer (Second Verifier) in urban areas, through which eKYC of persons who do not have fingerprint/iris and who do not have mobile number in Aadhaar can be done.

All such elderly people who were facing problems in availing the benefits of government schemes due to lack of biometric data input i.e. fingerprint/iris and mobile number in Aadhaar will get relief from this order.
