Rajasthan Weather Today: Amidst the intense heat in Rajasthan, signs of a change in weather are emerging. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Jaipur, Dausa, Bharatpur, and surrounding districts. According to the department, light to moderate thundershowers, strong winds, and light rain are possible in some areas. Meanwhile, heatwaves and warm nights will persist in western Rajasthan for the next two to three days. A temperature of 47 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sriganganagar. The weather will begin to change from May 28th due to the influence of a new western disturbance, and temperatures may drop from May 29th.

Rajasthan weather update : The heat wave continues to intensify in Rajasthan, but now signs of a change in the weather are also visible. According to the IMD, the weather may change in some districts of Rajasthan. In Jaipur, Dausa, Bharatpur, Deeg and surrounding areas, there is a possibility of light to moderate thundershowers, sudden strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, and light to moderate rain. Meanwhile, heatwave and warm night conditions are expected in many parts of the state for the next 2 to 3 days.

According to the IMD, temperatures in many districts of western Rajasthan could remain between 44 and 47 degrees Celsius. Sriganganagar recorded a high of 47 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, while Bikaner and Phalodi also reached 46 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department stated that a new western disturbance could trigger thunderstorms and rain in many parts of Rajasthan starting May 28th, which could lead to a drop in temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees from May 29th.

Thunderstorm and rain warning in Dausa and Bharatpur

A heat wave accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds of up to 50 to 60 kilometers per hour is expected in Dausa and Bharatpur districts on May 28. The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid open spaces and monitor weather updates.

Heatwave impacts Bikaner and Sriganganagar

Heat wave conditions continue to persist in the western parts of the state. Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Sriganganagar, and Phalodi are expected to experience heat waves and warm nights for the next few days. Daytime temperatures are 3 to 4 degrees above normal in many areas.

The weather will change from May 28

According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall activity will begin in eastern and some western parts of Rajasthan from May 28. These activities may increase further after May 30. Thunderstorms and light rain are likely to continue in some areas until the first week of June.
