According to the Meteorological Department, heatwave conditions persist in Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Bikaner divisions. Apart from this, heatwaves and hot nights are also expected in some parts of the Bharatpur division. The department has warned that dust storms can blow in these areas at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour after noon.

Western Rajasthan is facing the brunt of severe heat.

The condition of western Rajasthan is the worst. The havoc of severe heat continues here. In desert districts like Jaisalmer and Barmer, the temperature has gone above 47 degrees. At the same time, the temperature has reached 44-45 degrees in cities like Churu, Pilani, Lunkaransar, and Jodhpur. In areas like Bikaner, Ajmer, and Jaipur, the temperature was recorded to be 1.6 to 5 degrees higher than normal. According to the Meteorological Department, hot night conditions may persist in Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Jaipur for the next two to three days. Also, there is a heat wave-like situation during the day as well. There is no hope of a drop in the temperature of western Rajasthan. This is also affecting the normal life.
