Redmi Note 15 SE 5G Launched in India: Curved Display, 5800mAh Battery and Competitive Pricing

Xiaomi has expanded its mid-range smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G. Positioned as a special edition of the Redmi Note 15 5G, the new device brings a mix of premium design elements and strong hardware at a competitive price point.

Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G starts at ₹19,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹21,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant costs ₹23,999. Buyers can also avail a ₹2,000 discount through select bank offers.

The smartphone will go on sale starting April 7 via Flipkart and Xiaomi’s official online store. It is available in three color options—Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve (Red), and Frosted White.

Display and Design
The device features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. With peak brightness reaching up to 3200 nits, the screen is designed to perform well even under direct sunlight.

Performance and Software
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm architecture, the phone aims to deliver efficient performance for daily tasks and multitasking. It runs on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, providing a modern software experience.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, it features a 20MP front camera capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps.

A key highlight of the device is its large 5800mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging. This combination is expected to offer extended usage along with quick top-ups.
