What is the whole matter of MD drugs worth Rs 252 crore?
This case dates back to 2024. In May of last year, Mumbai Police seized mephedrone (MD) drugs worth ₹252 crore (approximately $1.25 billion). The main accused in the case was Salim Shaikh, who allegedly hosted rave parties for celebrities. His parties reportedly included everyone from politicians to Bollywood stars. It is reported that Salim Shaikh named Ori during interrogation and leveled serious allegations against him.

Reports cite sources as saying that Salim Sheikh claimed in his statement that Ori is related to Alishah Parkar, the nephew of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Sheikh further claimed that Ori not only uses drugs but also attends drug parties.
Ori was to appear before the anti-narcotics team
The Mumbai Police's Anti-Narcotics Unit summoned Ori, asking him to appear today (November 20th). However, Ori has been granted until after November 25th to present his case.
