Change in LPG cylinder prices

On the first of every month, oil companies revise the prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders. This means: LPG prices may increase or decrease from July 1.

Aadhaar now mandatory for new PAN card from July 1, 2025:

It will be mandatory to have an Aadhaar card to apply for a new PAN card. If your PAN is still not linked to Aadhaar, you have to get it linked by December 31, 2025, otherwise it may become invalid.

New Railway Ticket Booking Rules

Indian Railways is implementing several changes from July 1: Fare hike: Non-AC class: Increase by 1 paisa per km AC class: Increase by 2 paisa per km Waiting ticket limit: Only 25% of the total seats in each class can be waiting tickets.

Aadhaar and OTP required for Tatkal booking through IRCTC

Important updates for Tatkal booking:

From July 1, Tatkal tickets can be booked only from IRCTC account linked with Aadhaar.

From July 15, OTP sent to the mobile number linked with Aadhaar will be required for booking.

Railway agents will not be able to book Tatkal tickets 30 minutes before the booking window opens.

13 Bank Holidays in July 2025

Plan your banking tasks in advance:

Banks will be closed for 13 days in July (including Saturdays, Sundays and state-specific holidays).

Digital services like ATMs, mobile banking and UPI will still continue to work.

But services like RTGS, NEFT and cheque clearance may be delayed.
