Samsung’s Big Bang at CES 2026: Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Book 6 Pro and Book 6 Launched

Samsung has made a strong push into the premium laptop space by unveiling its new Galaxy Book 6 series at CES 2026. The lineup includes the Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book 6, all powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with advanced AI capabilities.

Designed for professionals, creators, and power users, the new Galaxy Book 6 range focuses on high performance, long battery life, and AI-driven productivity.

Galaxy Book 6 Ultra: The Flagship Model

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra is the most powerful laptop in the series. It runs on Windows 11 Home and features a large 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touch display with up to 1000 nits brightness and an anti-reflective coating.

At its core is the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor paired with an Intel NPU, delivering AI performance of up to 50 TOPS. For graphics-intensive tasks, Samsung offers Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 GPU options, making the Ultra ideal for content creation, 3D work, and high-end gaming.

Performance, Storage and Connectivity

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Port selection is extensive, featuring Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The focus is clearly on smooth multitasking and demanding professional workflows.

Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6

The Galaxy Book 6 Pro and Galaxy Book 6 are available in both 14-inch and 16-inch variants. The Pro model comes with an AMOLED touch display, while the standard Galaxy Book 6 uses an IPS panel.

Both models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with an integrated AI NPU. The Pro variant features Intel Arc Graphics, while the regular Galaxy Book 6 relies on Intel Graphics. These laptops are aimed at users seeking a balance between premium design, performance, and portability.

Battery, Audio and Availability

The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra packs an 80.2Wh battery, which Samsung claims can deliver up to 30 hours of video playback on a single charge, along with support for 100W fast charging. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro includes a battery of up to 78Wh, while the standard model features a 61.2Wh battery.

All models come equipped with Dolby Atmos speakers and a full-HD webcam for enhanced audio and video calling. Samsung has not yet announced pricing, but the Galaxy Book 6 series is expected to go on sale in select markets by the end of this month.
