Shubman Gill and Smriti Mandhana were the standouts at the BCCI Naman Awards 2026. Both players were honored with the Best International Cricketer Award for their outstanding performances.
BCCI Naman Awards 2026 Winner List: To celebrate the remarkable achievements of Indian cricket and the contributions of its players, the BCCI hosted the Naman Awards 2026 in New Delhi. The prestigious ceremony honored outstanding players and legends at the international, domestic, and age-group levels. Many prominent figures from Indian cricket were present at the event.
The ceremony honored current players, as well as former legends and rising stars. The Naman Awards have become a major platform for recognizing outstanding performers in Indian cricket, with outstanding performances being honored annually.
Harshit Rana and Shri Charani received the Debut Award
At this year’s Naman Awards, Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana was honored for Best Debut in International Cricket. In the women’s category, Shree Charani received the award. Both players captured the cricket world’s attention with their debut performances. However, Harshit Rana was recently unable to be a part of India’s T20 World Cup 2026 winning team. He was sidelined due to injury during the series against New Zealand. Despite this, his performance was particularly praised by the BCCI.
Veteran players receive great honors
Three legends of Indian cricket were honored with the Colonel C.K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award at the Naman Awards 2026. The recipients include Roger Binny, Rahul Dravid, and Mithali Raj. This award is considered the BCCI’s highest honor, given to players who have made significant contributions to Indian cricket over a long period of time. These three legends have played a key role in taking Indian cricket to new heights throughout their careers.
Shubman Gill and Smriti Mandhana received special awards
Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill was named the Best International Cricketer (Men’s) for the 2024-25 season. Gill has established himself as one of Team India’s most reliable batsmen with his impressive performances in recent years. In women’s cricket, star batsman Smriti Mandhana received this honor. Mandhana’s outstanding performance marked her fifth consecutive win of the prestigious award. This achievement reflects her consistent performance and significant contributions to the team.
Deepti Sharma and Ayush Mhatre were also honored
Star Indian women’s team all-rounder Deepti Sharma was also honored at the ceremony. She was awarded for taking the most wickets for the Indian women’s team in the 2024-25 season. Deepti’s performance has been crucial for the team in recent times. Additionally, young player Ayush Mhatre was honored with the Lala Amarnath Award for his outstanding performance in domestic limited-overs cricket. This award recognizes the best all-rounder performance in domestic cricket.
