Comedian and actor Sunil Grover has once again grabbed attention with his impressive mimicry skills. Known for transforming himself into popular personalities on television, he is now set to portray former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in an upcoming episode of Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show.

A promotional video released by Netflix on November 4 has already created excitement among viewers. Although Sunil appears for only a brief moment, his expressions, gestures and distinctive speaking style have made a strong impression.

Sunil Grover's Atal Bihari Vajpayee Look Leaves Everyone Surprised

Sunil Grover has built a reputation for his ability to imitate well-known personalities. Over the years, audiences have enjoyed several of his memorable characters, including his portrayals of wrestler The Great Khali and renowned lyricist Gulzar.

This time, he takes on the appearance of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, one of India's most respected former Prime Ministers.

In the promo, host Kapil Sharma is interacting with guests Zakir Khan, Pankaj Tripathi and Dr Vikas Divyakirti when Sunil makes his entry in the Vajpayee-inspired look.

His facial expressions, hand movements and carefully timed pauses recreate the former Prime Minister's distinctive public-speaking style, leaving the guests and audience visibly impressed.

What Does Sunil Grover Say in the Promo?

While performing the character, Sunil introduces himself humorously as "Saral Bihari Vajpayee", using a modified name for the show.

He then addresses the guests and makes a playful reference to Pankaj Tripathi's acting skills, suggesting that the actor can bring any character to life.

The joke has an interesting connection to Pankaj Tripathi's filmography. He portrayed Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the 2024 biographical film Main Atal Hoon.

Sunil's dialogue cleverly connects the actor's on-screen portrayal with his own comic imitation of the former Prime Minister.

Why Is Pankaj Tripathi Part of This Special Episode?

Pankaj Tripathi is among the special guests appearing in the upcoming episode alongside comedian Zakir Khan and Dr Vikas Divyakirti, founder of Drishti IAS.

The combination of comedy, cinema and an educational personality is expected to make the episode an interesting watch.

Sunil Grover's surprise appearance adds another entertaining element to the episode, particularly because of the connection between his character and Pankaj Tripathi's previous film role.
