During the shooting of this film, Madhuri Dixit had a heated argument with the director. The argument between the two was so heated that he almost removed Madhuri from the film.

Actually, what happened was that there was a scene in this film in which goons tie Amitabh Bachchan in chains. He tries to save Madhuri, but the goons overpower him. In such a situation, Madhuri had to come in between and tell the goons - 'Why attack a man tied in chains alone, when a woman is standing in front of him.'

The director asked the actress to remove her blouse 

Talking about this incident, the director of the film claimed during an interview that he had explained the entire scene to Madhuri before she signed the film. He said, 'I told Madhuri that you have to take off your blouse for the first time. We will show you in bra. And during this time I will not hide you behind a haystack or anything. Because in this scene you have to present yourself in front of the goons to save Amitabh. So this is a very important scene and I want to shoot it on the first day itself. Madhuri agreed to do this scene.'

However, according to Tinu, when this scene was to be shot on the first day, Madhuri refused to do the scene. When the director asked the reason for this, she said, 'I don't want to do this scene.' Hearing this from Madhuri, the director got furious and he asked the actress to say goodbye to the film. Later Amitabh Bachchan tried to convince the director.
