Smartphones are one of the most important devices we have. The various features on smartphones make many of our tasks much easier. One of the most important parts of a smartphone is its screen. Many people use tempered glass to protect their screens from scratches or cracks.

Sometimes, if the phone is dropped or hit by a sharp object, the tempered glass can break or crack. Some people continue using the tempered glass even after it has broken or shattered. Are you doing the same? Be careful, as using broken tempered glass can compromise the safety of the phone's screen. Let's explore the effects of using broken tempered glass on your smartphone.

Screen safety may be reduced.
The primary function of tempered glass is to protect the mobile display from scratches and impacts. When glass breaks, its strength begins to diminish. Therefore, if the phone is dropped again or subjected to a strong impact, the display may be damaged. While broken tempered glass may provide some protection, it cannot guarantee the same level of protection. Therefore, avoid using broken tempered glass.

Glass shards can cause injury.
Another major disadvantage of using broken tempered glass is its sharp and protruding edges. If small pieces of glass are released from the broken tempered glass, they can touch your fingers while you're using the phone, causing injury.

It can also affect the touchscreen.
Using broken tempered glass not only reduces the safety of the screen but it can also affect the touchscreen of the mobile. If any part of the tempered glass is separated or is putting pressure on the display, then it can make it difficult to use the touchscreen. This can impair the touch response on the screen. Also, if lines appear on the screen, or there is any other problem with the display, then get the phone checked. Using broken tempered glass can damage your phone, so always use good tempered glass. This increases the safety of the phone.
