That island of India where no one is allowed to go, the people living here have no contact with the outside world


Police have arrested an American tourist for visiting an isolated island in the Indian Ocean and contacting tribal people there.

Mikhail Viktorovich Poliakoff, a 24-year-old American tourist, is accused of trying to make contact with the indigenous population of North Sentinel Island in the Indian Ocean, making a film and leaving a soda can on its shore.

This island is a part of the Andaman Nicobar archipelago in the Indian Ocean and no one is allowed to come within a distance of five kilometers from it.

This island is inhabited by a tribal people called Sentinelese who have no contact with the rest of the world.
