The Raja Saab Trailer 2.0: A new trailer for director Maruthi's highly anticipated horror-comedy "The Raja Saab" was released on Monday. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad, with Ishaan Saxena co-producing it. The film, which has been in production since 2022, is now slated for a theatrical release on January 9, 2026, coinciding with Sankranti.
The film stars Prabhas in the lead role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab. The trailer reveals the film's story centers on a conflict between a mysterious hypnotist and a young man determined to protect his grandmother.

The 3-minute trailer of 'The Raja Saab' reveals the entire story
The nearly three-minute trailer begins with Prabhas ' character explaining that his grandmother (Zarina Wahab) forgets everyone except one special person. The grandmother affectionately calls her grandson "Raja Saab." The plot twists when Sanjay Dutt 's character, a dangerous hypnotist, appears in the grandmother's dreams, haunting her. Prabhas then decides to fight the spirit to save her.
Prabhas arrives at a deserted mansion to learn the truth about the hypnotist, but soon realizes it's all a trap designed to lure him in. The mansion itself becomes a terrifying character, where Prabhas and those around him seem hypnotized at every step.
