Hanuman Beniwal Controversial Statement: Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) MP from Nagaur seat of Rajasthan Hanuman Beniwal, who is often in the headlines for his controversial statements, has made another controversial statement. Hanuman Beniwal has said that the people of Rajasthan are called 'land of heroes', which is completely wrong. He claimed that the people of Rajasthan have no contribution in the country's freedom struggle.
Hanuman Beniwal says, "Not a single revolutionary like Bhagat Singh came out of Rajasthan. The kings of Rajasthan would even give their daughters to the Mughals to save their positions. The Mughals would take away the daughters of the kings of Rajasthan. Many kings here had established matrimonial relations with the Mughals."
'There is no history of fighting in Rajasthan'
MP Hanuman Beniwal said in a program in Jaipur city, "Except two-three people like Maharana Pratap and Surajmal, the people of Rajasthan have never fought for the country. There is no history of fighting for the country in Rajasthan. If the fighters of Rajasthan had come forward to fight for the country's independence, then their name would have been in history. There is no name of them anywhere in history."
'There is no song from Rajasthan in the freedom struggle'
According to MP Hanuman Beniwal, from the 1857 revolt to the day of independence, no person from Rajasthan fought any battle. The people of Rajasthan did not fight as much as the other neighbouring states did. Hanuman Beniwal said that no song from Rajasthan was sung in the freedom struggle. The people here did not contribute. If anyone has fought here, then his name should be told to me.
'People of Rajasthan are used to being exploited'
MP Hanuman Beniwal did not stop here. He further said, "People of Rajasthan are used to being exploited even in the present times. They get exploited by Congress for five years and then by BJP for the next five years. People here do not pay attention to people like us who struggle. I have been protesting in temperatures ranging from two degrees to 46 degrees. I will also work to get justice for the youth who have been victims of injustice in the sub-inspector recruitment in Rajasthan. Even if this fight falls on me and my family."
Hanuman Beniwal made this statement on Saturday during the ongoing protest at Shaheed Smarak. He participates in the protest of unsuccessful candidates of Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam every day. He has announced to organize a rally on 25th May demanding cancellation of Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam. This rally will be held in Jaipur city itself and the target has been set to gather one lakh people in it.
