The blood of this person who has returned from the jaws of death many times has also become poisonous. Now anti-venom medicine to protect against snake bite will be made from his blood.

The name of this person is Tim Freedi. According to Freedi, after the attack on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001, he was so depressed that he went to the basement of his house in Wisconsin and got himself bitten by two of the world's most dangerous snakes. He came out of coma after four days. Freedi said that he realized very well how a person dies due to snake bite.

Then he became a daredevil. Between 2000 and 2018, he is still alive despite being bitten by snakes more than 200 times. He has taken snake venom through injection more than 650 times. Then Freedy wanted to make himself completely immune to snake venom.

Friedi, who was once a truck mechanic, was accidentally bitten by a snake when he was five years old, and then it became his hobby and passion. Now he is 57 years old. Scientists ridiculed his claims that snake venom does not affect his body. But now a research in the Cell Journal has confirmed that such antibodies have been formed in Friedi's blood that can neutralize the effect of the venom spread by snake bites. Researchers hope that by using Friedi's immunity, anti-venom medicine can be made to protect against snake bites in the world.

Antibodies made from snake bites on horses

Currently, some injections of snake venom are given to horses and some other animals. The antibodies made from this are used as anti-snake venom medicines. But they can protect against only a few species of snakes. This antibody also causes some problems. In such a situation, antibodies produced in humans from snake venom are considered better.

Freedi turned out to be perfect

Freedi is perfect for this, who has absorbed the venom of dangerous snakes like cobras, typans, black mambas and rattlesnakes. Two antibodies have been found in Freedi's blood, and the research paper also mentions the drug varespladib. It works to save lives from snake bites of 13 out of 19 species.

Medicines for snake bites

All the medicines made in the world for snake bites are not able to protect against the venom of all the 600 poisonous snakes. According to WHO, every year around 1 lakh 38 thousand people die due to snake bites. In the last 125 years, there has not been much change in the medicine used to protect against snake bites.
