The popular television show "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" has been a favorite among fans for years, with the character Tappu, originally played by Bhavya Gandhi, holding a special place in viewers' hearts. Bhavya joined the show in 2008 and left abruptly in 2017, leaving fans shocked and hesitant to accept replacements in the role. Since then, two other actors—Raj Anadkat and currently Nitesh Bluni—have portrayed Tappu.
Rumors have been swirling recently about Bhavya Gandhi making a comeback to the show. However, the show's makers have officially dismissed these claims, stating that the news of Bhavya's return is entirely false and mere speculation aimed at stirring unnecessary rumors. They praised Nitesh Bluni for his excellent portrayal of Tappu, saying he continues to win audiences with his performance and energy.
Produced by Asit Kumar Modi under Neela Film Productions, TMKOC remains a highly watched show. Though rumors about the return of veterans like Bhavya Gandhi or Disha Vakani (Dayaben) occasionally surface, the makers emphasize that any official cast announcements will only come from the production house itself.
The makers expressed gratitude for the audience's love and nostalgia but urged viewers and media to disregard unfounded gossip.
