Pakistani cleric Mufti Saeed Khan has exposed the dark reality of terrorists in Kashmir. He said that the militants, often glorified as "mujahideen" or religious warriors, used to force vulnerable female refugees into sexual intercourse.
Mufti Saeed Khan is associated with the Deobandi ideology and is considered close to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
You probably don't realize the extent of oppression faced by women in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Mufti Saeed Khan, a prominent Pakistani cleric, has revealed a reality that will send shivers down your spine. He claims systematic exploitation of women at the hands of Pakistan-backed terrorists.
Mufti Saeed Khan, who adheres to the Deobandi school of thought and is considered close to former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, made this revelation publicly from an open platform at a gathering titled "Kashmir and Our Hypocrisy." Mufti Saeed Khan claimed to have exposed a dark truth about the ongoing insurgency in Kashmir. He said that the militants, often glorified as "mujahideen," or religious warriors, forced vulnerable female refugees into sexual intercourse.
A trade of body for a loaf of bread
She said that Kashmiri Muslim women and girls, who were living in refugee camps, were forced to surrender their bodies in exchange for a loaf of bread to eat.
Meanwhile, according to top sources in Indian intelligence agencies, Khan's statement is a rare admission from within Pakistan's religious and political establishment. It deals a significant blow to Pakistan's long-preached narrative of "pure jihad."
India's allegations confirmed
Sources said the statement exposes the proxy war strategy in which terrorists, backed and armed by the ISI, have been exploiting local people. They added that Khan's statement matches declassified documents previously shared internationally by India. The revelation, which comes from within Pakistan, further enhances its credibility.
According to sources, this statement also strengthens the international human rights reports which have long been alleging sexual violence against women and abuse of local people.
This revelation also reveals that organizations that claim to fight for the rights of Kashmiris are actually complicit in the exploitation of the most vulnerable. This raises serious questions about the credibility of Pakistan-backed militancy.
