According to the IMD forecast, the weather will remain dry in both the eastern and western divisions of UP on Monday (June 9). During this time, the havoc of heat wave will be seen in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Jalaun, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra. During this time, as the day progresses, the rays of the sun will also become sharp and people will be seen suffering from the intensity of heat. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for many districts on June 10. Apart from this, from June 11, there will be clouds again in UP and it will also rain.
The mercury will rise by 2 to 3 degrees.
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that in the next 2 days in UP, the maximum temperature in different districts of UP will rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. During this time, hot surface westerly winds will also blow and heat waves will also be seen in many districts. After this, from June 11, the movement of clouds will be seen in different districts of UP and the period of rain will also start. During this time, a decrease in temperature will also be seen.
Severe heat in Agra Jhansi
The heat of the sun-scorched people throughout the day in many cities of UP. On Sunday, the temperature in Agra reached 44.8 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature was also recorded at 44.7 degrees Celsius in Jhansi. Apart from this, the temperature remained close to 43 degrees Celsius in more than half a dozen districts of the state. Due to the scorching heat, there was a lot of silence on the roads on Sunday.
