The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for a heat wave along with intense heat in Agra, Jhansi, Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Firozabad, Etawah, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur of UP for Tuesday. At the same time, nights will be hotter than normal in about 14 districts of southern and western UP and there will be an outbreak of warm nights. Along with this, a yellow alert has been issued for heat waves for about 25 districts of western UP and NCR. On Monday, the maximum temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius in about 22 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Even today, the temperature is expected to remain above 40 in many districts.

Along with the day, nights will also be hot.
The weather department says that from Tuesday to the next one or two days, along with heat waves in the day, nights will also be hotter than normal in many districts of Bundelkhand and Agra region and there will be outbreaks of warm nights. Senior scientist of Regional Meteorological Center Lucknow, Atul Kumar Singh said that after June 11, due to the effect of moisture rising from the Bay of Bengal, drizzle will be seen again in Purvanchal and other parts of the state.

Humidity made the situation miserable, mercury will rise further
On Monday, for the second consecutive day, heat and humidity made people restless in the capital. The intensity of the sun was so much that there was silence on the roads in the afternoon. The weather department says that there is a possibility of a further increase in the temperature of Lucknow on Tuesday. The mercury can go around 43 degrees Celsius.

On Monday, there was a slight increase in the maximum temperature, but due to the easterly winds, the humidity in the air was high. As a result, severe humidity worsened the situation. Even coolers proved unsuccessful in providing relief to the people. Be it sunshine or shade, there was no relief anywhere. Atul Kumar Singh, a scientist at the Regional Meteorological Center, said that the combination of moisture from Bengal and the Arabian Sea may cause a change in the weather from June 11. There is a possibility of sporadic drizzle with the movement of clouds between June 11 and 12. On Monday, the maximum day temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius with a rise of 0.6 degrees, and the night temperature was recorded at 29.4 degrees Celsius with a rise of 1.4 degrees.
