Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who previously made his T20 debut playing for Bihar in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and later participated in IPL 2025, is set to make his first appearance in the iconic blue jersey of an Indian team. This debut for India A is expected during the upcoming Rising Stars Asia Cup starting November 14, 2025.

Vaibhav’s first match in the blue jersey is likely to be against the UAE on the opening day of the tournament. Though he has represented India’s Under-19 team in ODIs wearing the blue jersey, this will be his inaugural T20 match with the team.

Before this, Vaibhav played eight T20 matches, scoring 265 runs at an impressive strike rate of 207.03, including a century and a half-century. On his T20 debut for Bihar, he scored 13 runs and made a strong impression in his IPL debut by scoring 34 runs off 20 balls.
