Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a blistering 190 runs in the very first match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. However, he missed his next match on Friday due to a very special award from the President.
India's young cricketer, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, is achieving new milestones with each passing day. At just 14 years old, Vaibhav has already taken the cricket world by storm and set numerous records. His remarkable success on the pitch has earned him recognition from the Indian government. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been awarded the country's highest child award, the Prime Minister's National Child Award. President Draupadi Murmu personally presented the award to this promising batsman from Bihar at a special ceremony.
Vaibhav honoured for his achievements in cricket
On Friday, December 26th, when the Bihar team was on the field for its second match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the team's superstar batsman, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, was present at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The occasion was the Prime Minister's National Child Award. As every year, this year too, many young people and children from across the country were honored for their achievements, some for their bravery, others for their contributions to sports, music, or science.
Vaibhav, who hails from Samastipur, Bihar, was honored with this award for his outstanding performance in the world of cricket. President Murmu presented the award to Vaibhav for his achievements, including becoming the youngest player in the IPL and the fastest Indian batsman to score a century. As Vaibhav's name was called for the award, thunderous applause erupted throughout Vigyan Bhavan. Vaibhav arrived wearing an orange blazer and white kurta-pyjama.
Vaibhav's brother expressed pride
Vaibhav's award was a proud moment not only for him but also for his family, and his brother unhesitatingly shared it with everyone. Vaibhav's elder brother, Ujjwal Suryavanshi, posted a photo of Vaibhav receiving the award on his Instagram account and wrote, "This is a proud moment for us. Today, Vaibhav was honored with the Children's Award by our country's President. Our President also praised Vaibhav."
