WhatsApp Tip & Trick: Send your 'Live Location' in one tap, no need to explain the way to anyone
Have you ever been to a new place and had a friend or relative come to visit, but you couldn't explain the correct route or your exact location? Repeatedly telling your phone to "turn right, turn left" can be quite a hassle. To get around this problem, WhatsApp has a great feature—Live Location Sharing.
This feature lets you share your real-time location with anyone, allowing them to easily find your exact location using GPS maps.
How does it work?
Using this feature is very simple:
Open the chat with the person you want to share your location with.
Click Attachment (the paperclip icon) at the bottom of the chat box.
Tap 'Location' from the options provided.
Then, select 'Share Live Location', set a time limit (e.g., 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours) and send.
Important:
You can customize the length of time your location is shared. It automatically stops after the time limit is reached.
You can also stop sharing your live location immediately by clicking 'Stop Sharing' at any time.
This handy little feature is extremely safe and useful when traveling in unfamiliar areas or providing live updates to loved ones!
