Chittorgarh. Shri Sanwalia Seth temple, a symbol of faith of Mewar, is once again in the news for the unwavering devotion of the devotees and new records of donations. Till the fourth phase of counting of the donation box opened recently in the temple, a total amount of 21 crore 65 lakh 50 thousand rupees has come out. This figure not only shows the popularity of the temple, but also proves that the devotion of the devotees is deepening day by day.

The counting of offerings has been going on for five days

The counting of donations started on 26 April, in which a record amount of 10 crore rupees was counted on the very first day. After this, the counting of donations continued on 28, 29 and 30 April. On the fourth day on Wednesday, 4 crore 15 lakh 50 thousand rupees were counted. This is a clear indication that this time the devotees have made offerings with even more devotion than last time.

The counting is being done under the transparent system of the temple trust and under the supervision of the administration. The special thing is that donations are not limited to cash only. Devotees are also offering gold, silver and precious metals as gifts. These donations are used in the religious activities of the temple, social services and helping the needy.
