Hollywood superstar Will Smith has openly shared his interest in working in Bollywood, saying he would love to collaborate with some of India’s biggest stars—especially Shah Rukh Khan. Smith also revealed that he has previously held discussions with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, though none of those projects ever moved forward.

Will Smith made these comments while attending the premiere of National Geographic’s Pole to Pole with Will Smith in Dubai. Speaking to Gulf News on the red carpet, the actor said he has long been fascinated by Bollywood and is keen to be part of an Indian film.

Talks with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan

Recalling earlier discussions, Smith said he had spoken to Salman Khan about a possible project, which at one point was also linked with Amitabh Bachchan. He mentioned that when Salman suggested a role concept, he felt an instant connection, even joking about sharing a similar “Big” title. Despite multiple conversations over the years, the collaborations never materialised.

Wants Shah Rukh Khan to cast him

Will Smith was especially enthusiastic while talking about Shah Rukh Khan. He said he would love to work with the Bollywood superstar and even expressed hope that SRK would cast him in one of his upcoming films. Smith’s admiration for Shah Rukh Khan was clear, as he referred to him as a global icon with unmatched screen presence.
