After the mega auction, the BCCI has released the complete schedule for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. This year’s schedule has surprised many fans because, for the first time, the final of a major cricket league in India will not be held on a weekend or public holiday. As per the announcement, the eliminator will be played on Tuesday, February 3, and the final on Thursday, February 5.

WPL 2026 will be hosted across two venues — Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.

Two double-headers this season
The 2026 edition will run for 28 days and feature 22 matches. Apart from two double-headers, all fixtures will start at 7 p.m. The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will host the first phase, including the opening matches and the two double-headers. The second half of the tournament, including the playoffs and the final, will be played in Vadodara.
