Yash’s Childhood Was So Filmy That He Once Promised to Catch Veerappan Himself!

South superstar Yash is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film Toxic, and fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen. Amid the buzz around the movie, Yash recently opened up about his childhood, his strict upbringing and the confidence that eventually helped shape his journey as an actor.

Yash revealed that he was quite mischievous as a child and often entertained people by dancing and delivering dramatic dialogues. His performances at school became so common that his classmates and even teachers started calling him “Hero.”

Teachers Would Ask, “Where Is the Hero Today?”

According to Yash, being called “Hero” from such a young age made him believe that perhaps he was actually born to become one. He recalled how teachers would often tease him by saying things like, “What happened, Hero? Why are you late today?”

The actor said that he would regularly perform dialogues and dance at school, which created a fun atmosphere around him and gave him a lot of confidence.

Yash Once Said He Would Catch Veerappan

Yash also shared a hilarious memory from the time when the notorious bandit Veerappan was a major issue in the region. Recalling his childhood bravado, Yash said he would go to school and dramatically declare that if he was given a chance and leave from school, he would go and catch Veerappan and bring him back.

For young Yash, such dramatic statements were simply part of the fun and the “hero” image he had developed among his friends and teachers.

His Father Was Extremely Strict

Yash also spoke about how disciplined his childhood was. He said his father was very strict and would not tolerate him coming home late. If Yash was even around 10 minutes late, his father would sometimes arrive in his car and punish him in front of his friends.

He recalled that his friends were also scared of his father, and the strict treatment continued until Yash was in college.

However, Yash eventually found a rather dramatic way to stop the beatings. One day, after being hit, he deliberately acted as though he had been seriously injured. After seeing this, his father stopped beating him.

“My Parents Considered Us Their Assets”

Despite his strict upbringing, Yash said he feels extremely fortunate because his parents always encouraged him to become independent. They taught him never to beg for opportunities or do anything that would make him lose his self-respect.

Yash said his parents did not have significant assets, but they considered their children to be their greatest assets. According to him, they always believed that he would achieve something in life.

Looking back, Yash feels that his mischievous childhood, the confidence he developed through performing and even the difficult experiences at home were all part of the journey that eventually led him toward stardom.

With Toxic now generating considerable excitement, fans will be eager to see how Yash brings his larger-than-life screen presence to his next big project.
