8-Foot Dhaman Snake Found at Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat: One Rescued, Another Still Missing

Shah Rukh Khan's iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, has made headlines for an unusual reason. Two snakes were reportedly spotted inside the property on August 17, prompting a snake rescue team to launch a search operation.

According to reports, the incident took place at around 8 pm. One of the snakes was eventually found beneath a staircase and safely rescued, while the second snake reportedly remains unaccounted for.

8-Foot Snake Rescued From Mannat

The rescued snake was reportedly around 8 feet long and was identified as a Dhaman, or Indian rat snake.

Dhamans are non-venomous snakes and are commonly found in different parts of India. They are generally known for feeding on rodents and other small animals.

The rescue team searched the property after the snakes were spotted and successfully captured one of them from underneath the staircase.

The search for the second snake reportedly continued, although there has been no confirmed update about whether it has since been found.

Interestingly, the incident reportedly occurred on Nag Panchami, a festival traditionally associated with the worship of snakes.

Shah Rukh Khan and His Family Are Not Currently Living at Mannat

While Mannat is widely associated with Shah Rukh Khan and his family, reports suggest that the actor is currently not staying at the bungalow.

Construction work is reportedly underway at the property, including plans for additional floors. During the renovation, Shah Rukh Khan and his family are said to be staying at Pooja Casa in Bandra's Pali Hill area.

The building is reportedly owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani and his family, with the actor renting the property during the construction period.
