This service is available for the elderly and those who cannot visit an Aadhaar center due to illness or disability. A fee of ₹700 is charged in addition to the standard fee for making or updating the card.

How much will the fee be?

  1. This service is designed for those in need, but the fee varies. If the service is booked for a single resident at a single address, the service charge is ₹700 .
  2. If any other member along with the main resident at that address wants to avail this service, then Rs 350 will have to be paid separately for each member.
  3. It is worth noting that this charge will be taken in addition to the normal government update fee which is up to Rs 50 or Rs 100.

How to book service?

  1. To book this service, you can call 1947 or you can send a request along with the required documents through email to the regional office of UIDAI.
  2. After getting approval from the regional office, the work is handed over to the concerned registrar or Aadhaar centre, who completes the biometric and other processes by sending an operator to your home within 7 to 15 days.
