Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan is in the news these days for his next film 'Sitare Zameen Par'. In a media interaction, he shared many important things including the confusion related to the release and his experience with neurodivergent victims.

'The film will be released only in theaters'
Aamir Khan said during this, 'Many things have come to the fore regarding the release of this film and many discussions are going on related to it. I want to make it clear that my film 'Sitare Zameen Par' will be released only in theaters.'
He further said, 'OTT and digital platforms have a lot of influence nowadays, but I give priority to theaters and am focusing all my attention on it. So, clearing whatever confusion there is, I want to reiterate that the film will be released only in theaters.'
'Piracy is the biggest challenge facing theaters'
The actor also talked about the leaking of films online. He said, 'The biggest problem facing theaters is piracy. This is a huge issue that is very harmful to the film industry. Piracy should not happen at all, but nowadays it is happening a lot, which is very sad.'
'There was not a single conflict during the shooting'
Talking about the film, Aamir said, 'To be honest, this is the first time that there was not a single conflict of any kind during the entire shooting. Otherwise, usually in every film, something happens somewhere between the director-DOP or between the production and the costume designer. But in this film, there was no need to calm anyone down.'
He further said, 'The entire credit for this goes to those ten neurodivergent adults with whom we shot. As soon as they came on the set, there was an innocent smile on their faces, they hugged everyone, met them lovingly and their energy spread throughout the set.'
Aamir said, 'Their presence also changed us. No one spoke loudly, no one quarreled with anyone. Everyone automatically became calmer, sensible, and caring. I say this from my heart - because of them, our behavior has improved and maybe we have become a little better human beings as well.'
'Screening was held for common people'
Aamir said about the screening of the film, 'I do a test screening of every film but I don't invite the people to the film. Directors, producers, and actors - their perspectives are different. I invite the audience who are common people, who have a direct connection only with the story, with emotions. And that is the real reaction for me.'
Aamir said, 'We did the same in this film as well and got a very strong response. People liked the film very much. Especially these 10 characters and these real neurodivergent adults, people were surprised to see their work.'

Experience working with neurodivergent people
Aamir also shared his experience of working with neurodivergent people during the shooting of the film. He said, 'Working with neurodivergent people took the same amount of time as working with normal actors, sometimes even less. They also work hard, rehearse lines, and sometimes forget lines, like everyone else. There are retakes, but there is never any delay.'
