Another ‘Sonam Raghuvanshi’ Case: Woman in Nagpur Murders Paralyzed Husband for Her Lover

In a chilling repeat of the infamous Sonam Raghuvanshi case, a woman in Nagpur has been arrested for murdering her ailing husband with the help of her lover. The crime took place in the Tarodi Khurd area and has left the local community in shock.

Wife and Lover Arrested for Murder

The accused woman, 30-year-old Disha Ramtek, allegedly conspired with her lover, Asif alias Rajababu Tyrewala, to kill her husband Chandrasen Ramtek, who was bedridden due to paralysis. According to police, the affair began while Disha was caring for her sick husband, and over time, she and Asif grew close.

Murder Covered Up as Natural Death

On Friday, Disha and Asif executed their plan. While Disha restrained her husband on the bed, Asif allegedly smothered him. Initially, Disha claimed her husband died from his illness. However, the truth surfaced when the post-mortem revealed death due to strangulation.

Truth Emerges Under Police Interrogation

When the police questioned Disha further, she eventually broke down and confessed to the murder. Both she and her lover have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

Echoes of a Similar Crime in Indore

This incident closely resembles the high-profile murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, where his wife Sonam, along with her lover Raj Kushwaha, plotted and executed his killing. The Nagpur case once again highlights the dark nexus of infidelity and crime.
