Bhajanlal Cabinet Meeting: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma held a cabinet meeting in Jaipur on Monday, in which many important decisions were taken in urban development, medical tourism and employee service rules.
Bhajanlal Cabinet Meeting: A cabinet meeting of the Rajasthan government was held on Monday, July 14, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. After the cabinet meeting, Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa, Jogaram Patel, Sumit Godara gave information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting through a press conference. Many important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting in urban development, medical tourism and employee service rules.
Members will increase in RPSC
A big decision was taken in the Rajasthan Cabinet meeting regarding compassionate appointments. Apart from this, it has also been decided to increase the number of members in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. The state government has decided to increase the number of members in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). The President has been requested to take action against jailed RPSC member Babulal Katara. Minister Jogaram Patel said that this step has been taken to maintain the dignity and transparency of the commission.
Important decisions of cabinet meeting
- In a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, it was decided that now the family members of completely disabled state employees will also be given the benefit of compassionate appointment . Earlier, this facility was limited only to deceased or accidentally disabled employees.
- The government has given this relaxation in compassionate rules on the basis of sensitivity, so that the families of severely disabled employees can get financial security.
- Amendments to the Rajasthan Education Service Rules were also approved in the meeting. Under this, appointments, promotions and service conditions will be made more transparent and practical.
- A relaxation of 2 years will be given for promotion in the year 2025-26. This relaxation will be given to such employees who have not availed the benefit of promotion in the past years.
- Along with this, the names of some colleges were also changed. The Government College located in Osian of Jodhpur district will now be named Shaheed Gorakhnath Mahavidyalaya . The government says that this naming is an important step towards honoring the martyrs.
- It has been decided to increase the number of members in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Till now the Commission (RPSC) had seven members, which will be increased to ten.
- The government has decided to abolish the Township Policy 2010 and replace it with the Township Policy 2024. The new policy has been made more transparent, people-oriented and conducive to planned development.
What is in the new township policy?
In the new township policy, 7 percent area in every colony will be mandatorily reserved for playgrounds. 8 percent area will be reserved for 'facility areas' like schools, hospitals. It will be mandatory for the developer to maintain the township for 5 years. Minimum reserved land will be ensured for the buffer zone. It will be mandatory to follow the rules of Rajasthan Land Pooling Scheme 2016. Apart from this, a state-level monitoring committee will be formed for effective implementation and monitoring of the policy. This committee will review the progress of the schemes and monitor the ground implementation.
