8th Pay Commission News: The 8th Pay Commission will hold different meetings across the country, it has already started from Dehradun. Many issues were discussed in this meeting held on 24th April in the capital of Uttarakhand. Officers belonging to the organization of central employees participate in this meeting. After this meeting, the second meeting is going on in the capital Delhi. During the three-day meeting which started from 28th April, a big news has come out from the commission. Actually, the 8th Pay Commission has extended the last date for giving suggestions (8th Pay Commission Memorandum Submission).

Until now, central government employees could submit their suggestions to the 8th Pay Commission until April 30. However, this deadline has now been extended to May 31, 2026. This means that central government employees can submit their suggestions to the Pay Commission until May 31, 2026.

8th Pay Commission: Suggestions can now be sent by May 31

National President of All India NPS Employees Federation, Dr. Manjeet Singh Patel has welcomed the extension of the last date for submitting suggestions by the 8th Pay Commission .

He tweeted on X and wrote - "We express our gratitude to the Hon'ble 8thCPC for extending the last date for suggestions on the 8th Pay Commission from April 30 to May 31 from all organizations, individuals, judiciary and ministries/departments. And we appeal to all the employees across the country to send their suggestions online to the Commission."

The Commission has also updated the last date on its website.

The 8th Central Pay Commission updated the information on its website. The Commission wrote on its website - "Invites representations/memoranda/suggestions from Central Government employees – industrial and non-industrial, All India Services personnel, Defence Forces personnel, Union Territories personnel, officers and employees of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, members of regulatory bodies (except RBI) constituted under Acts of Parliament, officers and employees of the Supreme Court, officers and employees of High Courts (whose expenses are borne by the Union Territories), judicial officers of subordinate courts in Union Territories, pensioners, service associations/unions, and Ministries/Departments/Organisations of the Central Government/Union Territories."

The Commission's website further states, "The last date for submission of replies is May 31, 2026 (Sunday). All replies are to be submitted only through the link https://innovateindia.mygov.in/8cpc-memorandum-submission/. The Commission will not entertain or accept paper written memorandums/hard copies/PDFs/emails of memorandums."
