The drama inside the Bigg Boss 20 house intensified in the 23rd episode as old arguments, shifting friendships and the week's nomination task created fresh tensions among the contestants. From Reeti Tiwari's strong statement about Qazi Tauqeer to Captain Gullu's difficult decision over ration and lifelines, the episode had plenty of conflict and surprises.

Reeti Tiwari apologizes to Uditi

The episode began with the fallout from the previous "Diss Battle" task. Reeti Tiwari approached Uditi Singh and apologized for her earlier behavior. She explained that her anger was not actually directed at Uditi but stemmed from her frustration with Qazi's attitude.

Reeti made her feelings particularly clear, saying that she was not jealous of Qazi but instead had "pure hatred" for him. She also warned Uditi that Qazi, Mahi Vij, Arishfa Khan and Aman appeared to feel threatened by her growing presence in the house.

The conversation highlighted the growing cracks within the contestants' existing groups, with members later discussing Uditi's changing approach.

Asif and Young DSA clash over 'gang'

Another disagreement emerged between Asif Khan and Young DSA. The two, who have shared a friendship in the house, found themselves on opposite sides over the use of the word "gang."

Asif objected to the term, arguing that describing a group of friends as a "gang" could make the dynamic appear intimidating or bullying rather than equal. Young DSA attempted to calm the situation, but the disagreement left tension between the two.

Mary Kom makes a personal revelation

A quieter but emotional moment came when Qazi asked Mary Kom about love and relationships. Mary explained that although there had been certain experiences in her life, she had never truly experienced what she would describe as love.

She said that much of her life had been dominated by responsibilities.

Captain Gullu chooses ration over lifelines

Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, was once again given responsibility as captain and faced a major decision.

Bigg Boss gave him two choices:

• Take 120% ration for the house but give up the lifelines.
• Accept 80% ration and restore the lifelines of nominated contestants.

Gullu ultimately selected the second option. As a result, Uditi Singh and Kanika Mann received their lifelines, while the house had to settle for 80% ration.

The decision also opened the second door of the "2X Room" for the first time, adding another twist to the game.

Nomination task creates maximum tension

The biggest confrontation came during the week's nomination task. Contestants were divided into pairs and given just 10 minutes to mutually decide who should be nominated.

If a pair failed to reach an agreement within the time limit, both contestants would be nominated. Gullu remained safe because of his captaincy.

The results were:

• Reeti Tiwari and Amrapali: Neither agreed to the other's demand, so both entered the danger zone.
• Mahi Vij and Arishfa Khan: Mahi chose to sacrifice herself, saying Arishfa's strong fan following could help her survive.
