The two deceased students were from Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) in Nagpur. Saksham Bansod and Aryan Sontakke were 20 years old. While returning, their motorcycle skidded on the rough and dangerous road behind the university, and they fell straight into a ditch.
One mobile was left in the hotel, the other's battery ran out.
The scene was so deserted that no one noticed the accident. Furthermore, one student had left his phone at the hotel, and the other's battery had died, preventing them from contacting anyone. In the dark and on the rough road, the bike skidded, causing both to fall into a deep ravine. Without timely help, they succumbed to their injuries.
