Here we are telling you about a Chyavanprash that can be easily made at home, which strengthens immunity and keeps away cold, cough and fever. - Experts say that during monsoon, this Chyawanprash warms the body from inside, strengthens immunity and keeps seasonal diseases away.
- Turmeric contains curcumin. It strengthens immunity . It helps in reducing the symptoms of seasonal diseases like cold and cough.
- Turmeric can help relieve cough. It has anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces inflammation of the respiratory tract.
- Black pepper also provides relief in cough. It also increases the absorption of turmeric in the body. It has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The element piperine present in black pepper thins the mucus. It helps in fighting infection and curing sore throat .
- Ginger also protects against seasonal infections and acts as a panacea for cold and cough. Lemon or orange peel is rich in vitamin C. It helps in strengthening immunity.
- Raw honey soothes the throat, suppresses cough and protects against seasonal infections.
How to make Chyawanprash at home?

Material
- Turmeric powder - quarter teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 pinch
- Ginger (grated) - 1 inch
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp
- Lemon/orange peel - quarter teaspoon
- Raw honey – 1 tsp
- Almond butter – 4 tablespoons
Method
- Mix everything well.
- Now eat it 1 tablespoon daily.
