Hot chocolate is a favorite drink in winter, especially among children and young people. Experts say that if you keep certain things in mind while making hot chocolate, it can be beneficial for your health. Learn the right way to make hot chocolate from Ayurveda

  • Experts say that if you want to drink hot chocolate in the winter, it's the perfect drink for this season. You can certainly include it in your diet, but you should keep a few things in mind so it doesn't harm your health.
  • First, understand that hot chocolate is a milk-based drink and is difficult to digest. Therefore, avoid consuming it with meals or immediately after a heavy meal.
  • Drinking this can often leave you feeling heavy or bloated. To alleviate this, add ginger and cinnamon to your hot chocolate.
  • Ginger and cinnamon have a warming effect and are especially beneficial during the winter season. They provide warmth, prevent colds and coughs, and protect against infections.
  • Choose light milk. Full-cream milk isn't suitable for this. You can use A2 milk or oat milk. Avoid adding any heavy cream.
  • Drinking it with heavy milk can cause gas, indigestion, and dyspepsia. Avoid adding sugar, as this can lead to diabetes.
