Explosion in Dhaka, Bangladesh: Bomb thrown from flyover; 1 youth killed, several critical

Bangladesh Bomb Blast: Deputy Police Commissioner of the Ramna Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Masud Alam, said that it is initially believed that the bomb was thrown from the top of the flyover. The cause of the explosion is not yet clear.

A bomb blast has occurred in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. One person has been reported killed in the blast. The blast occurred in Moghbazar, Dhaka. Some miscreants threw the bomb, killing a boy and seriously injuring several others. The deceased's name is Siam. The blast occurred on the evening of December 24th under a flyover in front of the Moghbazar Freedom Fighters Memorial. This major incident occurred a day before the return of BNP leader Tariq Rahman to power in Bangladesh.

Eyewitnesses say that a bomb was thrown from the flyover in the evening. Siam was seriously injured when the bomb exploded. He was later found lying there in a pool of blood. He died shortly afterward. Family members of the deceased stated that Siam worked in a private factory and was living in the same area at the time of the incident.
The miscreants fled immediately after throwing the bomb
His identity was initially unclear, but his family later identified him. Upon receiving information about the incident, police immediately arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. The incident spread panic in the area. However, the miscreants fled immediately after throwing the bomb.
The reason for the bomb blast is not yet clear.
