To turn autoplay on or off for Reels or videos on Facebook, you can easily change it in the app's settings. This also saves you mobile data.

How to turn off or change Auto-Play in the Facebook App:

Open the Facebook app on your phone and tap your profile photo or the 3 lines (Menu) on the top right.

Scroll down and click on 'Settings & Privacy', then select the 'Settings' option.

Inside the 'Preferences' section you will see the option of 'Media', click on it.

Here you will find 3 options in the 'Autoplay' section:

Auto-play will be on both mobile data and Wi-Fi.

Videos/Reels will play automatically only when Wi-Fi is connected (better for saving data).

Auto-play will be completely disabled. No videos or reels will play automatically.

Choose the option as per your requirement (if you want to save data then select 'Never Auto-play Videos').

Verification: After this, when you go to your Facebook feed or Reels section, the Reels will not play automatically and you will have to click on them to play them.
