The festival season is about to begin. When it comes to festivals, it also means dancing, singing, and dressing up. During this time, there will be a surge in jewelry buying. If you're planning to buy gold and silver jewelry, today is a special day for you. Gold and silver prices across the country have been released, and this is good news for consumers, as prices have declined slightly. Gold prices across the country have fallen further. On Thursday morning, July 30, gold prices fell in most cities. In the capital, Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold fell to ₹1,43,650 per 10 grams. The strengthening of the Indian rupee is putting pressure on precious metal prices in the country. A stronger rupee makes buying gold in foreign currency cheaper. This reduces costs for bullion traders, resulting in a decline in retail gold prices in India.
According to Reuters, spot gold prices rose in the international market. Gold prices rose to $4,080.38 per ounce. US gold futures for August delivery also rose to $4,078 per ounce. The US central bank, the Federal Reserve, kept benchmark interest rates unchanged at 3.50%-3.75% at its July meeting. Interest rate cuts or stable rates are considered a positive sign for assets like gold and silver.
