Madhya Pradesh Rewards Kranti Gaur with ₹1 Crore
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a special reward for state player Kranti Gaur, who played a key role in India’s success. “I congratulate our daughter Kranti Gaur for her brilliant performance in the World Cup. On behalf of the state government, I am delighted to announce a reward of ₹1 crore,” the Chief Minister said, expressing pride that a daughter from Chhatarpur contributed to India’s glorious victory.
Himachal’s Renuka Thakur Honored with ₹1 Crore
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also declared a ₹1 crore reward for fast bowler Renuka Thakur, who hails from Rohru in Shimla district. Sukhu personally congratulated Renuka over the phone and praised her for being part of the World Cup–winning squad. “The entire nation is proud of our women cricketers who have brought home the trophy for the first time,” he said.
Harmanpreet Kaur Becomes Brand Ambassador for Omaxe

Silver Bat Gifted to Team India
In a unique gesture of appreciation, Surat-based jeweler D. Khushaldas Jewellers announced a special handcrafted silver bat and stumps to be presented to the World Cup–winning team. The masterpiece, created using 3,818 grams of silver, showcases intricate Rajasthani craftsmanship. Jeweler Deepak Choksi said, “This is our way of saluting the champions and promoting the spirit of Make in India. It took seven days to craft and symbolizes the nation’s gratitude to the team.”

The final, played in Navi Mumbai, saw India post an impressive 298/7 after batting first. Despite South African skipper Laura Wolvaardt’s century (101), the visitors fell short and were bowled out for 246 in 45.3 overs. Deepti Sharma led the bowling attack with five wickets, sealing India’s emphatic 52-run win.
