Employees will receive a bonus equivalent to 60 days' salary, or two months' salary. According to reports, the central government has announced a bonus for postal employees for 2025-26. The Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications, issued the order on October 16, 2026.

Under this scheme, eligible employees of the Postal Department will receive a bonus equivalent to 60 days' salary. This is good news for these employees ahead of the Diwali festival. Their salaries will now be credited to their accounts in the increased amount.
