Telangana Police, in a joint operation with Andhra Pradesh Police, has foiled a bomb blast plot in Hyderabad. Two suspects linked to ISIS have been arrested in the operation. Police have arrested Siraj from Vijayanagaram and Sameer from Hyderabad. It is alleged that both were planning to carry out a dummy blast in the city.
Siraj had allegedly purchased explosive material in Vijayanagaram as part of the plan. Both were getting orders from the Saudi Arabia-based ISIS module. They were being prepared to carry out a blast in Hyderabad. Both the suspects have been taken into custody. The joint operation involved Telangana Counter-Intelligence and Andhra Pradesh Intelligence.
