Recently a research was done at Uppsala University in Sweden. In which it was found that if you have not slept properly for three consecutive nights or sleep for only a few hours, then such proteins start increasing in the blood which can cause heart diseases.

Proteins are a type of molecule that is formed in our body when we are under stress. Due to less sleep, proteins start increasing in the blood. Proteins remain at high levels in the blood for a long time.

Consuming protein for a long time can cause heart beat to stop or the risk of many heart related diseases also increases. This research was done on 16 young people who were completely healthy. During this, two groups of 8 people each were formed. Every day after sleeping, both the groups did cycling.

Their blood samples were taken before and after this. During this, the researchers found that the risk of heart-related diseases has increased due to lack of sleep. Which is a matter of concern.
