Rohit scored a brilliant 73 runs off 97 balls, including nine fours and two sixes, marking his highest ODI innings at Adelaide and breaking multiple records in the process.

Opening the innings, Rohit reached his half-century off 74 balls, marking the 59th half-century of his ODI career. Although fans hoped he would convert it into a century, his 73-run knock came at a crucial stage, stabilizing India’s innings and setting up the rest of the team for a strong finish. Rohit was eventually dismissed by Mitchell Starc, who has now dismissed him six times in ODIs.
