What is the plan of the Ministry of External Affairs?
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Embassy are monitoring this entire operation. They say that the identity and number of passengers are being decided safely. As part of the process of their relocation to safe places, some Indians have already been taken from the capital Tehran to other cities. A land route will be used for their safe exit. The Ministry of External Affairs has issued an advisory. All Indian residents should stay inside, use the Ambassador Helpline number.

When will the students reach India?
If the first batch of buses from Iran's Urmia University are released, they will soon go to Armenia's Norduz border, where the people arriving there will be sent to India by air.
